Kieran Lynch is an Irish music producer and mixer working in the music, TV and film industries.  Kieran’s work includes projects with R.E.M., U2, Elvis Costello, The Beautiful South, Iarla Ó Lionáird, The Corrs, Paul Brady, David Lang, Donnacha Dennehy, Glen Hansard and Adam Levine.  Film work includes the soundtracks for Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, In America, The Tailor of Panama, The Good Thief, Ella Enchanted, The Water Giant, Frank and Sing Street.

Kieran studied for his Bachelor of Engineering (electronic) and Master of Engineering Science at University College Dublin before starting his career as a recording engineering at Windmill Lane Recording Studios in the mid 90s.  There, he worked alongside iconic producers such as Flood, Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Stephen Street and Mike Hedges, as well as recording many film scores with the Irish Film Orchestra.

Kieran also works in film and television post-production sound as a dialogue editor, sound designer and re-recording mixer and has been nominated for a prestigious Golden Reel award after his work on John Carney’s Sing Street.

He is a lecturer on the BA (Hons) in Creative Music Production at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT), Dun Laoghaire.
